Myrtle Potter

Marketing, Managed Care, Business Development, Commercial Development, and Decision Support and Commercial Innovation functions. She also co-chairs Genentech's Product Portfolio Committee and is charged with providing strategic and financial oversight of the company's drug development portfolio. Prior to Genentech, Ms. Potter held prominent positions at Bristol-Meyers Squibb and
Merck and Company.
In 2003, Ms. Potter was named to Fortune Magazine's Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Business, and in 2002 she was named to Fortune's Most Powerful Black Executives in America list. Also in 2002, Time Magazine named Ms. Potter to its list of 15 Young Global Business Influentials with especially promising and wide-reaching careers.
