Here's the update...and conclusion: Last month Southwest Airlines experienced a meltdown at Chicago Midway airport when a snowstorm hit and the airport ran out of deicing fluid.

CHICAGO, IL - All flights were ordered to remain grounded at Midway Airport late Thursday morning due to foggy conditions in the area. The initial "ground stop" enacted by the Federal Aviation Administration was to last until noon, according to an announcement from Midway Airport on social media.

Almost 500 flights have been canceled at Chicago's airports as they continue to clean up following a series of heavy snowfalls in the area.
