In 2006, when Rod Blagojevich, the Democrat, was running for governor against Judy Baar Topinka, the Republican, I voted for Topinka. Why? Because the flyers I kept getting from the Blagojevich campaign seemed unusually mean. Anyone who would play that dirty wasn't someone to be trusted.
