Ali Abdul Rahman al-Ghamdi

intelligence officials described Mr Ghamdi as the head of
al-Qaeda operations in
Saudi Arabia at the time of his arrest in 2003.
He was born in 1974 and is said to have gained battlefield experience in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
