Toledo Ballet Executive Director Mari Davies stresses that 3-4 years of tap training would be a loose prerequisite for taking this class. The O'Connell name is legendary for dance in the area, and with the popularity of dancing on the rise, “who better than Julie O'Connell to teach this class,” Davies said.
