Warburg Pincus is planning to open a new office in Germany four years after it closed its last, according to people familiar with the matter. The new bureau in Berlin is expected to open by early 2019, one of the people said. Warburg hasn't had a base in Germany since it closed its Frankfurt office in 2014.
