A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has in the Banda Sea off the coast of Indonesia's Tanimbar Islands, the US Geological Survey says. The quake, which was initially reported at a magnitude of 6.5, struck early Monday and was centred 222km northwest of Saumlaki in the Tanimbar Islands, the USGS said.
