The fire was located around mile marker 126 on I-75 southbound, close to San Carlos Park. Witnesses stated a balloon made contact with the power lines and caused a spark, which then caused a grass fire. This fire worked its way under a concrete fence and ignited the grass on the I-75 side of the fence.
